The Patient Care Assistant provides direct supervision and assistance with daily living activities for pediatric patients with medical and behavioral needs. They also monitor patient behavior, document vital signs, and collaborate with clinical staff to implement individualized care plans.
Candidates must be able to commit to 12-hour shifts and possess or obtain CPR/BLS certification and de-escalation training. Experience working with children or adolescents in medical or psychiatric settings is highly relevant to this role.

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) plays a vital role in supporting children and adolescents with medical and behavioral health needs. Working under the supervision of licensed nurses, the PCA provides daily care, emotional support, and structure within a safe, therapeutic environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, patient, and passionate about helping young people heal and grow.
