The Credentialing Specialist ensures healthcare providers are properly credentialed and compliant with all regulatory and organizational standards by verifying credentials, licensures, and certifications. Key duties include credentialing new hires with insurance payers, tracking documentation, processing re-credentialing, maintaining accurate databases, and monitoring expirations for ongoing compliance.
Candidates should possess at least two years of experience in health plan enrollment, demonstrating high attention to detail and effective communication skills across organizational levels. Experience credentialing across multiple states and payor types, including Medicaid, is preferred, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to adhere to timelines.

2+ years working in health plan enrollment is preferred High attention to detail including effective communications at all organizational levels Experience credentialing across multiple states as well as across Commercial and Medicaid payors Experience with state Medicaid enrollment is preferred Experience working in a team environment Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to adhere to timelines Preferred but not necessary: Familiarity or experience with provider enrollment or medical licensing Startup experience
