The Physical Therapy Assistant will perform and document daily patient assessments, following a prescribed plan of care appropriate to the patient's needs and involving the patient and family. Responsibilities also include educating patients and caregivers, planning discharge, and providing information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
Candidates must possess a Physical Therapy Assistant License required by the state and have graduated from an American Physical Therapy Association approved curriculum, with BLS certification required. While 1+ years of experience is preferred, new graduates will be considered.
