The Radiologic Technologist applies ionizing radiation for diagnosis and operates specialized fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, performing IV injections, and collaborating with medical staff in emergency and surgical settings.
Requires a high school diploma and graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology. Candidates must be ARRT registry eligible and hold an AHA BLS-HCP certification.
Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required.
