We are seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse to join our team.
The Registered Nurse will assist in the organization and daily function of the surgery center including caring for patients preparation for their surgical procedure.
Monitoring patient's vital signs, and continuously evaluate patient recovery from anesthesia.
May assist anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians.
20 - 30 Hours per month
Providing care in the ambulatory/perioperative setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. Being a resource person and teacher. Providing care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Utilizing initiative and striving to maintain a steady level of productivity. Being a self-starter. Being a collaborative and supportive team player. Communicating on behalf of patients in a way that reflects the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates/Eligibility: Current State RN license. If BLS and ACLS are not current upon hire, successful completion of a course is required within 90 days of hire. Two (2) years ' experience in PreOp preferred.
