About the role

The Orthopedic Technician will assist physicians with procedures and examinations, conduct patient rooming, intake history, and exams. Responsibilities also include applying and removing casts, splints, performing dressing changes, and drawing up injections while collaborating with clinical staff.

Orthopedic Technician - Concord Orthopaedics

Starting Salary

$23.00 per hour (Based on experience, certification, and licensure)

Schedule: Saturdays 8am–1pm through February, 8am–5pm beginning March

We are seeking dedicated individuals trained in a clinical setting to join our team on Saturdays as per diem OTs. As part of our clinical team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, passion for patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with procedures and examinations.
  • Conduct patient rooming, intake history, and exams.
  • Apply and remove casts, splints, and other durable medical equipment.
  • Perform dressing changes and draw up injections.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide compassionate care and maintain professionalism in all patient interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Casting experience (Required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Medical office experience (1 year preferred)
  • Medical terminology knowledge (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
