The Inpatient Staff Occupational Therapist provides in-patient services focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury in an acute medical setting. Responsibilities also include patient and caregiver education, consultation to other medical professionals, and thorough documentation.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and hold or be eligible for a state license for occupational therapy, along with a required BLS certification. Pediatric and/or developmental experience is preferred.
