PRN Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

• As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living.
• You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines.
• This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.

• Our hospital has a robust capacity, with 225 acute care beds, ensuring comprehensive medical support.
• The rehabilitation department provides personalized care with an average census of 9 patients, ensuring individualized attention and high-quality therapy services.
• Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient/Acute Care Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Qualifications
