The radiation therapist provides direct patient care utilizing proton radiation therapy, ensuring accurate treatment delivery and patient monitoring. They are responsible for maintaining treatment records and performing quality assurance procedures.
Candidates must be graduates of a JCERT accredited program in radiation therapy and hold certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. A preferred qualification is a baccalaureate degree in Radiation Therapy or a related health science field.

The role of the radiation therapist at New York Proton Center is to provide direct patient care utilizing proton radiation therapy.
• One year of experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist preferred, but not required
