This role involves performing clinical practitioner duties, including obtaining histories, performing physical exams, making assessments, ordering tests, and developing plans of care for the assigned patient population. Responsibilities also include accurately recording patient data, managing time effectively, consulting with physicians, and educating patients and families.
Candidates must meet specific educational requirements for either a Physician Assistant (Bachelor's degree and program completion) or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Master's degree and accredited program completion). All applicants must maintain current required certifications, including BLS, and possess the necessary state licensure for practice in Texas.
