The Certified Nursing Assistant role functions to provide essential nursing care and support to residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care that meets each resident’s unique needs.
Record all entries on flow sheets (ADLs. I&Os, percentage of meals eaten, vitals, bowel & bladder) in an informative, descriptive and legible manner. Record additional entries as requested/required by the charge nurse.
Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
Report all accidents and incidents observed as they occur.
Transports residents to assigned locations for activity.
Monitor and supervise residents at all times to ensure resident safety.
Assist in passing meal trays to residents at meal times. Ensure the correct tray is given to the correct resident.
Assist and participate in a hydration program.
Assist patients at meal times.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations established in the employee handbook and other policies.
