The role involves providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities according to service plans, which includes assisting with socialization, health maintenance, and medication administration. Key duties also encompass supporting daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and community integration.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and preferably have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with six months of human services experience. A critical requirement is possessing a valid driver's license for at least one year post-permit and maintaining a clean Motor Vehicle Report that meets company insurability standards.
