Responsibilities

  • High Focus Centers in Farmington is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals. At High Focus Centers in Farmington we are currently seeking a Mental Health Associate to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals participating in group sessions, patient break supervision, routine monitoring of urine drug screens, and multiple assigned clerical and operational activities.. Hourly Rate

  • $16/hour - $17/hour
  • Schedule: Full time 40 hours/week Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates an understanding of adolescent growth and development and must be able to co-facilitate a didactic and experiential group or is willing to learn to co-facilitate groups.
  • Involves driving, sitting, walking, handling charts and talking on the phone for extended periods of time.
  • Participate in written and verbal shift changes by communicating with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, shift updates.
  • Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients as directed by supervisors and clinical team.
  • Support the daily structure through helping clients attend all scheduled activities.
  • Under direction of supervisors, facilitates activities including recreational groups and meetings.
  • Participates in team meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.

REQUIRED: At least one (1) year of experience working with adolescent populations.

REQUIRED: Valid Driver's License
