The role involves providing direct care by helping individuals grow, learn, and live well, which includes supporting them with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Staff will also assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who may exhibit behavioral challenges or have complex needs.
Candidates must possess patience, compassion, and reliability to succeed in this meaningful work, although no high school diploma is required for the position. Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
