The Medical Assistant supports physicians and clinic staff by managing patient flow and performing technical clinical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for visits, maintaining electronic health records, and assisting with examinations and treatments.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program with at least one year of relevant healthcare experience. Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or RMA) and BLS certification are required within a specified timeframe.
