The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine has an opening for a Registered Nurse supporting Cardiology Intervention. As an RN, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, providing meaningful support, enhancing their experience, and offering healthcare information as needed. Additionally, Cleveland Clinic offers extensive professional development opportunities, including continued education and online or in-person courses to further develop your nursing skills.
00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
Administer medication and treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
