The Physical Therapist is responsible for applying therapeutic principles, exercising good clinical judgment, and ensuring patient safety while maximizing treatment potential. This includes identifying problem areas, designing and analyzing treatment plans, and efficiently preparing for patient discharge.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program and be eligible for licensure in Texas, with no prior experience required, although one year is preferred. Required certifications include active CPR or Basic Life Support certification upon hire, along with Physical Therapist licensure eligibility in Texas.
