Candidates must possess a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license, a Minnesota APRN license with prescriptive authority, and a graduate degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program, along with AMCB certification. Essential qualifications include competency in normal labor and delivery management, active DEA registration, and current CPR/BLS, NRP, and ALSO certifications.
