Job Description

Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic images for our patients.

Essential Functions and Qualifications

Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography OB/GYN or related field

Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sonographer

CPR/BLS certified.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Ability to work at a computer and on your feet for extended periods.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong organizational skills and mindfulness

Effective communication skills to interact professionally.

Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.

Work is performed in a medical office setting using standard medical equipment. The risk of exposure to blood and bodily fluids is present.

Sonographer Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using specialized equipment.

Obtain and record patient history and clinical data.

Performs exams with technical accuracy and in a timely manner.
