The role involves providing direct nursing care according to established organizational policies and procedures, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Responsibilities also include monitoring and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, and executing physician and nursing orders.
Minimum requirements include obtaining a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer, and holding an active Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing prior to the start date. Candidates must also possess a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or hold the required professional licensure at the time of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide direct nursing care following established organizational policies, procedures, and protocols Implement, monitor, record, and communicate patient care plans and condition changes Coordinate all disciplines as the primary point of contact for well-coordinated patient care Execute physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
