The Psychiatric Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and implement necessary clinical nursing interventions. Essential functions include providing direct patient care, assessing and documenting patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Candidates must possess current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and are preferred to have one year of professional RN experience, with recent Behavioral Health experience being preferred but not required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, and while BLS is preferred upon hire, it must be obtained before direct patient care begins.
