The assistant must independently implement appropriate treatment plans based on patient diagnosis and status under the direction of a registered Physical Therapist. Associates degree in physical therapy from an APTA accredited program.
Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professionals, Commonwealth of Massachusetts or application for the same.
APTA in Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire chapter of APTA membership preferred.
Certification in BLS of Adult, Child and Infant.
Demonstrated pursuit of continuing education courses relative to the field of physical therapy.
Knowledge, experience, and competency in dealing with adult rehabilitation and geriatric age group.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree in physical therapy from an APTA accredited program and hold current licensure, or be in the process of obtaining licensure, from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professionals. Competency in dealing with adult rehabilitation and geriatric age groups, along with BLS certification, is also required.
