The Registered Nurse maintains established standards of care, policies, objectives, and goals while administering professional nursing care to all patients. This includes identifying patient needs through assessment, planning and delegating care based on those needs, and evaluating the patient's response to care.
Applicants must be graduates of a state board School of Nursing and hold a current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License, with BLS for Healthcare Providers required during orientation. Experience is preferred, but new graduates are accepted, and excellent communication skills are necessary for this fast-paced environment.
Education required: Graduate of state board School of Nursing License, certification and/or registration: Current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License required. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient population.
