The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, and serving as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Responsibilities also include noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Candidates must possess a Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a current multi-state license recognized by a Compact State prior to the hire date. Additionally, they must obtain Advanced Life Support certification within 180 days and a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, along with a diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure at hire.
