The Residential Counselor will be responsible for providing skill training to individuals who have psychiatric disabilities. This role also involves educating and supporting the community's understanding of recovery and the integration of individuals living with mental illness.
Candidates must possess either a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services or a High School Diploma coupled with two years of experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities. Applicants are also required to have fingerprinting, pass a criminal record check, obtain approval from the NYS Office of Mental Health, and hold a clean, valid New York State Driver’s License.
RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Part Time Residential Counselor to join our team at our 6th Street Residence in Queens Village. In this role, the Counselor will provide skill training to individuals with psychiatric disabilities. Provide education and support advancement of the communities’ understanding of recovery and integration of individuals with mental illness.
