The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs various professional and non-clinical Nuclear Medicine procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while utilizing radioactive materials and adhering to regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities also include providing patient care, promoting safety and quality initiatives, and accurately entering online charges into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program and hold current registration by the ARRT (N) or NMTCB, along with a valid State of Ohio Radiological License. Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred, and effective communication skills are necessary.
