The Cardiovascular Technologist provides support to physicians during invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the sterile field, monitoring patient hemodynamic status, and operating specialized medical equipment.
Candidates must possess a vocational or technical school diploma and relevant professional certifications such as BLS or ACLS. A minimum of 1-3 years of technical experience in a cardiovascular setting is required.
Provides support to physician performing non-invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular procedures.
Vocational or Technical school Diploma required. Specialized license and/or certification, required. Current Basic Life Support Professional Certification OR Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certificationm required. 1-3 years of technical experience, required.
