Pulmonary Function Therapist - 0.9 FTE

Job summary

• Perform Pulmonary Function Testing with an emphasis on providing an exceptional patient experience. Promotes and ensures continuity in the quality of Pulmonary Function testing.
• KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience in Pulmonary Function Testing to include Quality control measures. Maintains current BLS. Will obtain a BLS card with in 6 months of enployment if BLS not current.
• EDUCATION: Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current license with the State of Montana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered Pulmonary Therapist preferred.
• APTITUDES: *Demonstrate ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision. *Demonstrated ability to plan and use time wisely. *Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with patients/families who may be under physical and emotional stress. *Gather and exchange information effectively with nursing personnel, physicians, and customers. *Ability to enter data accurately using the computer.
