Liquid Personnel is seeking three experienced Occupational Therapists to join a community-based adult social care team in West Cornwall, with coverage across the county. This role focuses on delivering optimal care while supporting our client's savings targets for 2025/26.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face assessments with a strengths-based approach to promote independence
- Support individuals in reducing reliance on care packages through tailored interventions
- Provide effective advice and guidance following assessments
- Recommend and arrange provision of appropriate equipment and adaptations
- Undertake carer’s assessments and reviews in line with statutory and operational standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver person-centred care
- Manage a caseload with flexibility in how cases are distributed across the team
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience working in community settings, preferably within Adult Social Care
- Ability to conduct face-to-face visits each week
- Strong understanding of equipment provision, housing adaptations, and carer support
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing
