The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ICU setting, including administering emergency medications and titrating critical care drips. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with the care team, performing essential nursing skills, and participating in patient and family education and discharge planning.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s degree in Nursing and up to one year of related experience, along with a current state Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include current BLS, and ACLS and PALS must be obtained within three months if not current upon hire.
• Education:
Requires a current state license as a Registered Nurse and is listed in good standing with the state’s Department of Professional Credentialing.
Requires a current certification in BLS and ACLS and PALS. If ACLS and PALS is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.
