The technologist performs various diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusting equipment settings, determining proper voltage and exposure, and positioning patients while utilizing ionizing radiation. Essential functions include interfacing with patients to explain procedures, reviewing charts, obtaining prior exams, performing high-quality scans, and coordinating with the Radiologist.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Registered Technologist program and hold current ARRT certification with Registry in Radiography (R), along with a current state medical board license if applicable and CPR certification. Preferred minimum experience is two plus years in X-Ray, along with strong communication skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
Envision Imaging is seeking a Full-Time X-ray technologist to join our team in Southlake, TX! Monday/Thursday/Friday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM + Tuesday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Position Pay Range $27.29 - $35.18
Performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.
This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.
