The Nurse Practitioner provides and collaborates with a psychiatrist to complete psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients across diverse behavioral health programs. This role involves administering and consulting on medication management, including reviewing and monitoring client medication plans, and participating in crisis evaluations to prevent hospitalization.
The applicant must be a competent prescriber experienced in prescribing medications under the delegation of a Medical Doctor. Responsibilities include consulting with medical and behavioral health staff regarding client care, treatment planning, and program placement.
