The coordinator is responsible for assessing individual needs and developing strength-based, person-centered treatment plans. They also advocate for clients by identifying and securing community-based services and supports.
Candidates must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with a bachelor's degree in a human services field. They must also have specialized training or one year of experience working with individuals with mental illness.

• Must be a QMHP in accordance with Medicaid Provider Manual Guidelines. 1. Possess specialized training (including fieldwork and/or internships associated with the academic curriculum where the student works directly with persons receiving mental health services as part of that experience) OR one year of experience in treating or working with a person who has mental illness; AND 2. Be a human services professional with at least a bachelor’s degree in a human services field
