The Licensed Dental Assistant will provide chairside assistance to pediatric dentists during procedures, prepare treatment areas, take dental X-rays, and maintain high standards of sterilization and infection control. Key duties also involve utilizing expanded functions permitted by Minnesota law, educating patients, and supporting behavior management for young patients.
Candidates must be a Licensed Dental Assistant capable of utilizing expanded functions as permitted by Minnesota state law, including taking impressions and performing coronal polishing. The role welcomes new graduates and requires the ability to assist in managing anxious pediatric patients while ensuring accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.
