Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting and in patients' homes. Deliver care as part of a resource pool to support patient recovery and functional independence.
Requires completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and current SC certification. AOTA certification is required, and two years of experience is preferred.

Certification is maintained by the AOTA. A person who meets the requirements for certifications as an Occupational Therapy Assistant established by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Current SC Certification
1. Physical Requirement/Working Conditions
Walking or standing a significant amount of time. Must be able to treat patients at the patient's home. External applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential functions, either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
