About the role

The Residential Specialist will support individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop independent living and emotional regulation skills necessary for achieving their treatment goals. This role involves building strong connections and integrating personal interests and talents into the support provided.

The pay range for this position is $20-$23.25 per hour.

Includes shift differential, additional weekend differential, and generous holiday pay!

As a Residential Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop the independent living skills and emotional regulation skills that are integral to accomplishing their identified treatment goals.

To be successful in this role, you will have

A high school diploma or GED or preferably, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or another human services field

Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges

A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation

A positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set mutual boundaries.

Ability to work evenings, overnights and weekends.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, preferably with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, and must have experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use challenges. A valid driver's license, car insurance, reliable transportation, and the ability to work evenings, overnights, and weekends are also required.
