This role involves performing delegated tasks to provide direct patient care to adolescents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring patient safety practices are followed and reporting concerns to leadership. The technician will also provide and document care according to the treatment plan, utilizing de-escalation and CPI techniques.
Candidates must be able to perform direct patient care, monitor mental health behaviors, and utilize CPI techniques, functioning in a supportive role to the nursing staff. A special qualification requires an Associate Degree in Human Sciences.
