The technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic radiographs of various anatomical parts by collecting patient data, verifying orders, determining optimal imaging parameters, and ensuring proper patient preparation and consent. Key duties also involve operating and maintaining radiographic equipment, administering contrast agents safely, and accurately documenting all patient care and exam information in relevant systems.
Candidates must have completed a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program recognized by the ARRT and possess strong leadership, organizational, independent thinking, and communication skills. Required credentials include current ARRT Registry (or obtaining it within 90 days) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, along with specific state clearances (Acts 33, 34, 73).
