The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) is responsible for directing, supervising, evaluating, and providing respiratory therapy services as prescribed by the attending physician. This includes initiating, administering, and monitoring all respiratory care procedures and initiating emergency measures according to client protocols.
Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in respiratory therapy and be registered by the NBRT as an RRT or CRTT, holding current and unrestricted state licensure. A minimum of one year of respiratory therapy/technician experience in a clinical environment is required, along with current CPR certification.

Respiratory therapy care is provided as authorized by the applicable state scope of practice regulations.

Bachelors Degree in respiratory therapy or Associate Degree in respiratory therapy.
Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy (NBRT) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRRT). Current and unrestricted state licensure as required by the state of practice.
At least one year of respiratory therapy/technician experience in a clinical environment.
Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
