The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for accurately filling orders, checking technician-prepared products, maintaining pharmacy security, and accurately entering patient information and orders. They must also report daily operations to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager and provide medication therapy education and patient counseling.
Candidates must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of location, preferably holding a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and having one year of hospital experience and a residency. Required knowledge includes strong drug knowledge, pharmacokinetics dosing, and nutritional support, alongside effective verbal and written communication skills.

Fill orders with accuracy; check technician prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Manager about the daily activities of the pharmacy; aid the Manager in maintaining the pharmacy. Job specifications: Required
• One year of hospital experience preferred. Licensed to practice in pharmacy in the state where the pharmacy is located. Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. Hospital pharmacy residency preferred. Very good drug knowledge base including pharmacokinetics dosing and nutritional support.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written; working computer knowledge.
• Repetitive use of hands and fingers (i.e., use of computer keyboard) and labeling containers. Normal range of hearing and vision to perform work and communicate.
