The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations primarily for adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients, and assist radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures as needed. This role also involves preparing and reviewing ultrasound images, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accurate documentation according to regulatory standards.
Candidates must possess a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification and proven experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations in a clinical setting, along with strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and technology. A minimum of 1-2 years of professional ultrasound experience and current CPR BLS certification are required, along with flexibility for scheduled travel on Wednesdays.

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) to join our Adult Medicine division in Cape Coral, with occasional Pediatric patients. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift, with scheduled travel on Wednesdays to our Metro Fort Myers location. Travel schedule is subject to change based on patient schedules.
The Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) will perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations primarily for adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients. This role requires proficiency in vascular ultrasound techniques and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team. The position is non-exempt and follows a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, with scheduled travel on Wednesdays to our Metro Fort Myers location and other PPC locations as needed based on patient needs.
• 1-2 years of professional work experience. Any exceptions must be approved by the director of clinical services.
• Normal office environment. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical environment.
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
