The Technician provides critical data to doctors by performing administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories and conducting preliminary testing. They are also responsible for scheduling patients, preparing exam rooms, and assisting doctors during patient exams to ensure quality standards are met.
This role requires performing various clinical tasks such as preparing patients, executing preliminary and requested tests, and assisting medical staff during procedures. Additionally, the individual must manage patient flow, maintain the cleanliness and inventory of the exam room, and adhere to physical demands including standing and lifting up to 15 lbs.
The Technician fulfills an important role in providing data that is critical to the doctor in order to provide proper care and treatment to each patient.
