The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room and assisting surgeons by providing sterile instruments and supplies. They ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and manage the sterilization of equipment to ensure patient safety.
Candidates must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with current BLS/ACLS certifications and completion of an accredited program. One year of operating room experience is preferred.

As a Surgical Scrub Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique.
Current Surgical Technologist certification required Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience preferred Current BLS/ACLS certification required Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to remain calm, focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

During your onboarding and orientation, you’ll receive specialized training in surgical technology, ophthalmic procedures, ocular terminology, and patient care standards. Team members are also encouraged to pursue additional ophthalmic certifications through our Employee Career Development Program, with company support available for eligible employees.
This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 15 pounds regularly, and working in a surgical environment with exposure to standard healthcare-related risks, including bloodborne pathogens and surgical equipment.
