The technician is responsible for performing preliminary clinical tests, preparing exam rooms, and assisting doctors with patient procedures. They also manage patient flow, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
The role requires the ability to perform clinical testing and assist with patient examinations. Candidates must be capable of light physical work, including standing for sustained periods and lifting up to 15 lbs.
The Technician fulfills an important role in providing data that is critical to the doctor in order to provide proper care and treatment to each patient. This individual is responsible for various administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, performing preliminary and ancillary testing, scheduling patients, preparing the exam room, and assisting the doctors with any exam needs. They ensure the practice’s quality standards are met, while completing specific, essential responsibilities that pertain to the patient’s experience and effective communication.
