The Technician provides critical data to doctors by performing administrative and clinical functions such as obtaining patient histories, conducting preliminary testing, and managing patient scheduling. They are also responsible for maintaining the exam room environment and ensuring the practice meets quality standards.
Candidates must be capable of performing physical activities including standing, stooping, grasping, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs regularly) and possess the necessary visual acuity for detailed work. Essential duties involve preparing patients, performing tests, assisting medical staff, and coordinating office flow.
The Technician fulfills an important role in providing data that is critical to the doctor in order to provide proper care and treatment to each patient. This individual is responsible for various administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, performing preliminary and ancillary testing, scheduling patients, preparing the exam room, and assisting the doctors with any exam needs. They ensure the practice’s quality standards are met, while completing specific, essential responsibilities that pertain to the patient’s experience and effective communication.
