The Staff Physical Therapist develops and applies physical therapy modalities, provides therapeutic exercise, and supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy. Responsibilities include gait and balance training, documenting progress, and participating in care planning to enhance resident quality of life.
Candidates must possess a New York State Physical Therapist licensure and current CPR certification, along with the physical strength to lift between 50-100lbs. Essential requirements also include strong communication skills and a deep respect for residents' privacy and rights.

Under the supervision of the Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Director, the Staff Physical Therapist provides physical therapy to the residents and supervises the Physical Therapy Assistant(s) and Physical Therapy Aide(s).
