The role involves providing direct patient care by assisting with changing linens, ambulation, transport, maintaining a clean environment, and obtaining/recording vital signs and nutritional intake. Additionally, the aide will communicate pre-op instructions and perform pre-admission functions like calling patients to review history and paperwork.
Candidates must have completed a Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant training program and hold the corresponding CNA or MA certification, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA. Required experience includes patient care and medical office work, supported by strong communication and multi-tasking abilities.
