The Medical Assistant will provide medical support to providers and general support for clinical activities, including maintaining equipment and supplies under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Key duties involve organizing patient charts, preparing exam rooms, calling patients, obtaining chief complaints, recording vital signs in Eclinical Works, and assisting with patient care.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma and current Medical Assistant certification (CCMA/CRMA). Healthcare experience is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus, along with general computer literacy.
We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion, based on your salary. Staff begins accruing PTO immediately for a total of up to 30 days earned in the first year. We offer employees an educational benefit. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.
Salary Range: $18-$19/hourly commensurate with experience
