An occupational therapist assists patients with physical impairments to develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities using various skills, techniques, or adaptive equipment. This role requires applying thorough knowledge of the educational and therapeutic values of occupational therapy.
Candidates must possess a New York State Occupational Therapist licensure and current CPR certification. Additional requirements include physical strength to lift between 50-100lbs and strong written and verbal communication skills.
