OR Circulator

Registered Nurse - OR Circulator - Full-time We are a busy multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for an experienced OR nurse to join our team. Our current specialties include general surgery, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, pain management, and interventional nephrology. Our facility operates Monday through Friday with no nights or holidays.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of FL
• 2 years of OR experience
• Experience in general surgery and ophthalmology preferred
• BLS/ACLS
• Wednesday and Friday availability preferred

Duties

• Assists with ensuring the OR is set up and supplies are readily available for cases
• Demonstrate proper OR standards and follow guidelines as recommended by accrediting agencies.
• Assist with positioning and prepping the patient per physicians orders
• Functions as an OR circulator providing safe individualized nursing care for each patient.
• Ensures appropriate documentation for each case per facility guidelines

• Must have great time management skills while being detail oriented and organized
• The ability to communicate clearly with patients, physicians, staff, and other health care professionals
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes or unforeseen circumstances.
